Defects from forms

Big shout out to Sam Wardle, our Account Executive, who was the biggest (and most persistent 🤪) advocate for this feature. Why? Because he knew how many customers would benefit from this time-saving update. With this new functionality, you can now track defects while completing any form —just like tracking an action. A simple update, designed to save you time.

Bulk Sign Offs

Meet Hugh Rayner, our Senior Developer 👋. He's pumped to release his most recent feature build: Bulk Sign Offs.

Do you have workers who sometimes forget to sign off at the end of their shift? This one’s for you. With Bulk Sign Offs, project managers can now manually sign off multiple workers at once, making it easier than ever to keep records accurate and up to date. Whether you need to sign off workers immediately, at the end of a standard workday, or with a custom time, this tool has you covered. It's super easy to use, but will save a lot of pain.

AI-Voice enabled site diaries

Busy builders often find it hard to take time at the end of the day to write a detailed site diary summary. You have tools to pack up, teams to update, and a chaotic schedule to manage. With voice-enabled site diaries, you can simply hit the microphone button and record a voice note with all the day's details. You can do this on the move as you walk back to your site office or put your tools in the car. Upload some photos before submitting and call it a day. The rest of your team (especially those back in the office) will be grateful for it.

Assign actions to workers

During a site inspection, have you ever encountered a new task or item that needs immediate attention? With action items, you can assign tasks to workers on the spot while completing your checklist. No need to interrupt your work, make calls, or send texts—simply assign a new action to the required worker and carry on with your inspection.

Other news, fixes & updates:

New

• Document AI Summaries: AI-generated summaries are now automatically added to your documents, allowing you to quickly see what’s inside at a glance. In future updates, these summaries will also enhance search and recall capabilities.
• Brand-New Project Overview Dashboard: We’ve launched a redesigned project overview dashboard that better highlights the tasks to be completed on any given project.
• Project Tags: You can now set up and tag your projects with custom attributes, enabling improved search and filtering.

Improvements

• Infrastructure Upgrades: We’ve made significant behind-the-scenes enhancements to our infrastructure. Load times are now faster, and the system can better scale to handle peak traffic.
• Global Addresses for Worker Profiles: You can now add global addresses when setting up worker profiles, providing more flexibility and accuracy.
• Exportable Rich Text Blocks: Contents of rich text blocks used within templates can now be exported to CSV when exporting a table view.
• Action Archiving and Restoration: Actions can now be archived and restored as needed, giving you better control over your workflow.

Fixes

• Project Settings Overwrite Issue: Fixed an issue where project-based settings were being overwritten by builder-wide settings. Projects with inductions disabled or enabled now reflect these settings correctly for workers.
• Register Template Update Errors: Resolved errors that occurred when updating a register template and syncing changes to existing register items.
