  • Reverse beeper is working (if required)
  • Safe working loads (SWL) are clearly marked and load chart is displayed (if lifting)
  • Burst protection valves are fitted (required for equipment with a rated capacity over one tonne)
  • All lifting chains are fitted with tags identifying SWLs, serial numbers, and test dates
  • All other lifting equipment has SWLs, serial numbers, and test dates clearly marked
  • Equipment is road registered (if being driven on public roads)
